Scranton, PA-Mercer softball (37-5) lost Game 2 of their doubleheader at Lackawanna (40-13) 12-4. The Falcons scored nine runs in the first inning. Sophomore Stella Logan (Trenton, NJ/Allentown HS) and freshman Ashlee Haywood (Ewing, NJ/Council Rock North) each had a double and RBI. Sophomore Jozalyn Sheipe-Warthen (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) had a triple and RBI in the loss.
Mercer next host Sussex (8-20) in their final regular season game on Monday, April 26th at 3:00 PM.
